Whispers of the Wind
Observatory
The iridescence of a dandelion becomes a starting point for an observatory. Botanical drawings lead to a glass-based proposal, moving from the geometry of a seed to the atmosphere of the space.

01
A closer observation
Dandelion studies isolate the seed’s fine silhouette, radiating form, and reflective qualities. Those observations inform the proposal’s form and material intent.

02
From seed to space
The elevation and exploded axon develop the canopy, central support, and space beneath as one composition. The central column and branching canopy give the interior its rhythm.

03
Beneath the canopy
An interior rendering brings the proposal to the scale of a person. Furniture and figures reveal the rhythm overhead and the atmosphere of light and reflection.
